Yeti Knowledge Partners LLP (Yeti) was incorporated in 2016 in New Delhi. It started it business as an agency, helping its clients sell their specialty steel products and help them quickly scale up sales volumes.

Till March 2022, in the agency business, the company has helped its clients sell more than 100k MT of very high value-added steels (totaling a revenue of approximately INR 2100 crore), with an average price more than Rs 200/kg with handsome margins.

In July 2022, Yeti expanded into the business of direct import/purchase and sales of similar materials and is now importing and buying domestically Q&T plates, CRGO and CRNGO and maintains physical inventory in Mumbai for these products and grades. Right now, Yeti imports material from Bao and Hunan Valin in China and buys materials in India of various makes including AMNS and JSPL amongst others foreign brands like NLMK and SSAB. Yeti has already started supplies to multitude of industries which are users of abrasion resistant plates, ultra-high yield strength sheets and CRGO. The company has also tied up with Tradepass Technology Services Pvt Ltd (Tradepass), a recently launched managed marketplace for specialty steel, to offer genuine material at predictable pricing on just in time basis.
